H is for, day 8 of the #AtoZchallenge

 H is for HELP!

Today, I'm sharing all the places I find help(or rather, collaborate with) my colleagues.

GoogleDrive
Sharing documents with your colleagues is very simple on google drive. Set up a new folder, share permission with the other colleague(s), and add material. Everything in the folder is accessible to all.

Twitter
There are several hashtag chats on twitter going on at any given time! A very popular one is called #langchat
Emilia Carrillo explains in depth on this post all about Twitter for Language Teachers.

Here is a list of accounts to follow for Language Lovers.

How to start your own PLN on Twitter

The 1st link below highlights several world language ones.
Twitter is made easier by using Tweetdeck!---It is an aggregator, it will collect hashtags for you to make twitter more navigable.

My school twitter is: https://mobile.twitter.com/DAlessandroCH

Pinterest
Pinterest is a visual bookmark tool. Once you have an account you can follow teachers or their boards.
Here is a link to lots of PLNs on Pinterest

Would you like to be part of my colllaborative board?

Facebook
Facebook is one of my favorite place to collaborate. Many people share videos as well as files on this platform. It's a 24 hour support group!

These are groups that I love:
CI Liftoff
IFLT/NTPRS/CI Teaching
Compelling and Comprehensible French
French teachers in the US
Italian teachers in the US
Tech for World Language Teachers

Are you in South Jersey, Pennsylvania or Delaware? Join this group and come to our next meeting!

And, if you can't find a group to fill a need, you can create one(like I did, in the fall for Italian CI teachers)

How are you currently virtually networking with colleagues? What is one new thing you are going to try(Please add your handle if you are adding a social media so we can connect with you!)

 A presto,

p.s. Join my our #virtualPLN on Facebook! #AtoZChallenge 2019 Tenth Anniversary badge#AtoZchallenge
